CARESY Hospital Companion App Now Launches on iOS

TL;DR — Quick Summary

CARESY has launched its iOS mobile app to connect patients and families with verified Hospital Companions who provide non-medical assistance during hospital visits.

New Delhi: CARESY, a hospital companion platform focused on providing on-ground assistance to patients and families, has launched its mobile application for iOS, making its hospital-support services accessible through a dedicated digital platform.

The platform aims to address the practical challenges patients and their families often face during hospital visits. These can include registration, admissions, billing, paperwork, navigating hospital departments, managing queues and collecting medical reports.

Rather than providing medical treatment, CARESY connects users with verified Hospital Companions who can assist with these non-clinical requirements while patients and families navigate the healthcare system.

Supporting Patients Beyond Medical Care

A hospital visit can involve several administrative and logistical steps, particularly for elderly patients, people travelling for treatment or families managing complex medical situations.

CARESY's service model is designed to provide assistance throughout these stages.

Its current services include:

  • Hospital assistance: Registration, admission, billing and discharge support

  • Paperwork assistance: Help with hospital documentation and insurance-related paperwork

  • Queue management: Assistance with queues and hospital processes

  • Department guidance: Help locating departments, doctors and services

  • Report collection: Collection of reports and medical documents

  • Personal companionship: On-ground assistance during hospital visits

Verified Hospital Companions

CARESY says it follows a verification-based process for selecting its Hospital Companions, including background checks, interviews and reviews of professional certifications.

The platform currently operates across Noida and Greater Noida, with a network of approximately 20–25 verified Hospital Companions providing assistance at major hospitals in the region. Users can reportedly book support for planned hospital visits as well as request assistance when required.

App-Based Access to Hospital Support

The launch of the iOS application is intended to make it easier for patients and families to discover and book hospital assistance.

According to the company announcement, the service currently offers different durations, beginning at ₹299 for one hour, with longer-duration options available for two, four and six hours, as well as a full-day service.

The Android application is expected to launch within the following month, according to the announcement.

CARESY also continues to provide WhatsApp-based assistance for users who need support.

Building a Hospital Support Ecosystem

CARESY's model highlights a growing area within healthcare services: support that sits between the hospital's clinical system and the practical needs of patients and caregivers.

While doctors, nurses and hospital staff remain responsible for clinical care, families may still need assistance navigating administrative and logistical processes. Hospital companion services seek to address this gap through trained individuals who can provide on-ground support.

For elderly patients, people attending hospitals alone and families unfamiliar with large hospitals, such assistance can potentially make hospital visits more organised and easier to navigate.

From Service Model to Digital Platform

Founder Adarsh Yadav said the mobile app represents a step in making the Hospital Companion concept easier for patients and families to access.

With the iOS launch, CARESY is moving from a primarily service-based model towards a technology-enabled platform that connects users with on-ground assistance.

The company currently remains focused on Noida and Greater Noida, while its stated longer-term objective is to expand its Hospital Companion network and reach more patients and families.

As healthcare delivery becomes increasingly digital, platforms such as CARESY are also exploring the role technology can play in addressing the non-medical aspects of a patient's hospital journey—from finding the right department to completing paperwork and coordinating routine hospital tasks.
